CRB checks are usually required for people working with children or vulnerable adults or financial services.
This page identifies some occupation types that require either a Standard or Enhanced Disclosure. The list is not exhaustive and should be used for guidance purposes only. The main areas are:
Education and Training
- Head Teachers / Principals
- Teachers - all levels of education for those aged under 18
- FE Lecturers - with regular access to persons aged under 18 (and vulnerable adults)
- HE Lecturers - with regular access to persons aged under 18 (and vulnerable adults)
